Explore Melbourne in 2 weeks

I love Melbourne. My favorite city in Australia so far. The lifestyle here is really multi-cultural & can find everything. nice beach, lots good caffees & restaurants to chill, shoppingstreets, diverent side s of cultures & a beautiful nature as well

Eureka Tower

Enjoy an amazing 360° view above Melbourne!

Great ocean road

Do a trip to the great ocean road & count the rocks in the ocean.

I recommend to plan at least 2 days. It takes around 4 hours for one way from Melbourne. And the great ocean road is huge.. a lot of nice spots and beaches on the road. Enjoy a fresh served Fish n Chip meal on the way.

We did it in one day, whats also totally worth it, but I suggest to spend some more time there.

Brighton beach

Take a picture in front of the creative coloured Beachhouses at brighton Beach and get refreshed on a hot summerday.

St. killa

My favourite part of melborune to hang out. Definitly a whole day worth it to stay there. And best point to watch the sun going down.

St.Killas offers a lot of activities. There is a nice street with a few caffees and restaurants. Just 5 minutes away from the beachpromenade, where you can ride down with a bycicle, skateboard or rollercoasters. The Beach is clean and really long. You can walk out to the water about 100 m till it gets deep. St. Killa is also the best place to watch the sun going down – magical sunsets! Make sure you don’t miss that and visit the water rats and pinguins at the pier after the sunset.

Chappel Sreet

Explore the chappelstreet. Find the best caffee or Icecream (on hot days) , do some shoppings and enjoy several graffitilanes in sidestreets.

Milkshake

Feel pregnant after a fancy milkshake! Those Milkshake doesn’t just looks amazing they also taste soo good! Yummii. Belongs to my TOP Sweets List 😀 Just be aware of a satisfied but full feeling. My Suggestion: Naugthy Boy Caffee in Fitzroy.

Brunch

Melbourne is popular for good food, specially brunches! You find hips of nice caffes to have a delicious breakfast in Fitzroy.

Shopping

Walk through the City, and enjoy really talented good singers and artist while you do some shoppings.

Botanic garden

Have a pic nic at the botanic garden. And enjo the view to the river and the skyline from the city.

Graffiti Lanes

I never visited a city with so many impressive and beautiful graffitis as Melbourne! There are several graffiti Lanes in the city. The famous one is Hosierlane just 5 min walk from flinders station, the main meeting point in the city. But I personally suggest to just walk around in Fitzroy north, chappelstreet or other places and explore some sidestreets with awesome arts on the walls!

Rooftop bar

Have a drink or Tee in a rooftop bar in Melbourne. My Suggestion: Rooftop Bar (yes that’s the real name of it- not that creative) just above the rooftop cinema and the … bar, which is not  touristy and has a tropical style. Lots of palm trees and good sound.

Fitzroy/north

As I already mentioned before, Fitzroy is a nice place to hang around, see graffitis and just grab a coffe or have a brunch there. Almost Impossible to find a bad caffeplace or restaurant. Also a nice place to hang out on evenings.

Dance lessons

If you like to dance – join a dancelesson! Melbourne is the city of music. Lot of good singers and dancers. I got my passion to dance immediately back in this city! My Suggestion: The Space Dance & Art Center at chappelstreet. A Class costs about 17 dollars & u don’t need any experience. Almost all kind of dancearts are offered and it it a lot of fun!

Thuesday Evenings: Visit Section 8 in CBD to enjoy cool dancevibes and awesome music at a nice spot.
